Rules for SCDC 2011

  1.  Each team can have a maximum of 4 team-members. Team-members can also be from the different institutions.
  2. Your design must implement all of the first three modules, while the fourth one is optional.
  3. “Module X” is an optional module, which could fetch you some bonus points. However, “Module X” will be considered for evaluation only if all the first three modules are functioning as per requirement.
  4. The design should NOT use micro-controllers, microprocessors, SoCs, FPGAs or any other programmable devices.
  5. The teams have to submit a report on their design (details about which is given in a later section). Teams will be selected for the finals of SCDC 2011, solely based on the reports submitted.
  6. The final design must not significantly differ from the design in the report, in which case the team shall be disqualified.
  7.  Only one report shall be accepted from each team. However, a team is allowed to resend their report before the deadline in case of an error that they find out in their report. Only the reports submitted before the deadline will be considered for evaluation.
  8. In case of any discrepancy or contentions, the decision of the event coordinators shall be final in all respects.
